Charities & Donations

Many people choose to remember their loved ones by making charitable donations in their names. Through such gifts you can give the hope of life and a better future to others. These gifts come in many forms: kindness, volunteer work, monetary donations, and even just your recognition and awareness. Every thing we do, whether large or small, can make a difference to family, friends and coworkers. How often, though, can we make a contribution or take part in a volunteer effort that can make an impact on the world now as well as for generations to come?

Disease-related Research: Choose a disease and there is likely a charity seeking donations to help fund the scientific research for a cure. A charitable donation toward a cure makes a fitting tribute for someone who lived with a particular disease or was especially concerned about it.

Societal-Aid Donations: The list of charitable causes abounds. Think about donating to a local food pantry, helping at a soup kitchen for the homeless, mentoring a needy child, or teaching adults to read. Giving of your time and talents is a great way to make a difference in your community. If you want to reach beyond your own locality, look into charities that help feed the hungry in other countries, aid refugees, look after orphans in war-torn areas, or come to the rescue when natural disasters occur.

Conservation Projects: If your loved one was a nature-lover, a charitable donation toward a conservation project could be in order. Buy a few acres of rainforest, adopt an endangered animal, name a star in their honor, or adopt a stretch of highway to clean up your own corner of the world.

There are so many deserving charities to pick from that we can’t possibly list them all here. When choosing an organization, look into their background, the scope of their mission, and their future plans. Choose a charity that embodies the memory of your loved one; something that would have touched their heart.

Please review them all, and if you have a specific charity you would like to add, please contact us at Support@ThingsNeverSaid.com , and we will try to accommodate your request in future updates.
